St. John's Hospice
Parish families are invited to prepare frozen casseroles to help feed those experiencing homelessness that are served by St. John's Hospice located in Philadelphia.
Empty foil casserole pans and lids are available in the parish garage (open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.) Please prepare your casserole so that it can be eaten with a plastic "spork" (combination spoon & fork).
You can make your favorite recipe or view easy recipes at St. John's website saintjohnshospice.org
Frozen casseroles can be dropped off to the St. John's Hospice freezer located in the Parish garage (open 7 days a week 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM). NOTE: enter the garage via the single door, light switch immediately to the right, and the freezer is straight ahead on the back wall. The St. John’s Hospice truck picks up casseroles the second Thursday of the month. With the donated frozen casseroles, St. John's is able to feed over 3000 meals weekly to homeless men.
