Pro-Life
The Church teaches that human life is to be respected, protected and fostered at every stage of its existence. St. Rose of Lima Parish actively supports activities that promote our teaching: education, celebration of Pro-Life days, food programs, and public advocacy. Included among activities are letter writing campaigns, annual Pro-Life flower sale on Mother’s Day, and a parish bus trip to Washington, DC each January for the March for Life. We also assist with voter guides.
St. Rose Respect Life Committee
Saint Rose of Lima is re-igniting our Respect Life Committee and is seeking members to help carry out its mission. The purpose of our Respect Life Committee is to assist in a special way to make Saint Rose of Lima “a center of life - a place where parishioners understand the issues and the importance of meeting the needs of the most vulnerable - especially mothers and their unborn children, and those seriously ill or dying and their families.” (USCCB Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities)
